general stop distracting yourself from yourself. Take the holistic approach
and listen to your body (physical), listen to your mind (mental), listen to
your feelings (emotional), and listen to your spirit (spiritual). Turn off
the television and sit in quiet, paint a picture, or go for a walk. Take a
bath, eat some good food, get some exercise, get a
Spiritual Healing,
stare at the flame of a lit candle, or listen to the birds chirping outside.
Talk to a friend, read a book, or sing along with your favorite song.
