How to Use Your Intuition at Work
Real story: How following one intuitive nudge about yellow paint saved a client relationship and led to a big order.
The Story: “He Needs Yellow”
When you learn to connect to your intuition, you can use it at work – not just at home.
Years ago, I was a technical sales rep for an industrial color company. I sold colorants for plastics. One morning I woke up and clearly heard, “He needs yellow,” about a specific client.
I thought, that’s strange. That client had just told me he didn’t need anything. He was very clear – no order this week.
But the message was so persistent. I decided to trust it and I called him.
He laughed when I called. “Monica! I told you I don’t need anything. I definitely don’t need yellow!”
I said, okay, no problem, and hung up. I thought maybe I made it up.
Two days later, my phone rang. It was the same client. “You won’t believe this. We just got a huge order in. I need yellow! How fast can you get it here?”
Because I listened, I was able to help him immediately. He got what he needed, and our relationship got even stronger.
What This Teaches Us About Practical Intuition
Your Divine Mind, your inner guidance, doesn’t just talk to you about spiritual things. It talks to you about practical, everyday things – like work, customers, and timing.
When you follow your inner guidance at work, you:
- Become a better leader – you respond to what is actually needed, not just what is said
- Increase your sales and improve customer service – you show up at the right time with the right solution
- Stop second-guessing – you learn to trust that quiet knowing, even when it doesn’t make logical sense
This is the difference between a psychic reading and Inner Guidance Communication. I don’t want to tell you what to do. I want to teach you how to get your own answers for your work, your health, and your life.
How to Practice This Yourself
1. Ask before your workday: “What does my team / my client / my business need from me today?”
2. Write down the first thing you hear, see, or feel – even if it seems silly, like “yellow.”
3. Take one small aligned action – send the email, make the call, bring the extra sample.
4. Notice what happens – your accuracy grows as you practice.
